Thought for the day: Day 27

“A wise man will guard his mind as if it were his daughter.”

This came from the book Destination Success.  This one passage was taken from a longer list.  I have posted the entire list in a previous post.  You can read it here:  http://wp.me/p3nLpj-7H

Thought for the day: Day 24

“Keep striving and you become somebody.  Quit, and you also become somebody.  Just not the same person.”

Thought for the day: Day 22

“Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” – Thomas Edison

Thought for the day: Day 16

“Do the thing you fear and the death of fear is certain.”

Thought for the day: Day 15

“Beaten paths are for beaten people.”

This one really speaks to me.  Every day in so many ways we have a world telling us to do things a certain way…that THIS must be the way to do a thing.  It’s incredibly difficult to find your own way with all the cultural and societal forces working against us.  Stepping out on your own is a big risk.  People everywhere will tell you that you are making a mistake or not to do it.  If you aren’t meant to follow the crowd, don’t follow the crowd.  Listen to your heart instead.  Create your own path.
